craft, I promise. I was helping out a jeerleading squad from the Atlanta Roller Girls (Stix Army) by making pom pons for the team out of garbage bags. I found a great tutorial online where a woman was recreating a pom pon to replace a lost one for her daughter. I had to make eight total, each pair will be attached to thick wooden dowels that are spray painted black (using black duct tape). It didn’t take too long (thanks to a helpful husband, but the slickness of the bag can make it difficult to cut. Needless to say, I think the girls were happy with the poms once they were done.
